Simple Candle Magick
Do you remember the first time you made a wish and blew out
your birthday candles?
Well, that was the first time you used candle magick! And you
used two very important elements of making magick work, focusing
you mind on your desire (your wish) and a symbol on which to
focus it upon (the candles).
And remember you had to blow the candles out with one breath
or…
There are a few simple rules to follow for success: a candle,
a purpose, concentrated focus of power directed toward your
emotional investment.
There are many different types of candles to be used but they
must be new and used for one purpose only.
Plan on burning the whole candle for the purpose you stated
when you first lit it. You should not use a candle designated
for one purpose for another. Burn it all the way down. You can
schedule the burning by doing hourly, daily or weekly burning
whatever way it will work in your time frame. If there is any
wax left after burning it down dispose of it in the proper
manner.
